Our Mission
The American Helicopter Museum & Education Center’s purpose is to collect, preserve, research, publish and exhibit the objects, artifacts and documents relating the origins and development of rotary-wing aircraft (autogiros, helicopters and convertaplanes) in the United States (and its roots in the Delaware Valley) for the benefit of the public. It accomplishes this mission by an active program of public educational programs, exhibitions, events, airshows, workshops, videotapes and publications designed to teach the principles of flight, celebrate the pioneers of aviation and encourage future generations of scientists, inventors, innovators, and engineers.
